Current Families
At Learning Community Day School, we cherish the strong, ongoing relationships we have with our current families
They’re more than supporters, they’re partners and stakeholders in our day-to-day growth. We warmly invite families to deepen their involvement through a variety of enriching opportunities including classroom volunteering, partnering in special events and lending their unique skills to school-wide projects. For those seeking a more active leadership role in LCDS, we encourage joining our Board of Directors, where parents collaborate with the Administration to advance the mission of our school. Together, we nurture not only a vibrant classroom community, but a thriving, inclusive school culture powered by the dedication of the families who call LCDS home.
Board of Directors
Learning Community Day School was founded in 1971 by a group of parents who sought an alternative to public school education and to this day we still have a parent-led Board of Directors made up of dedicated volunteers and invested parents. Elected annually, the Board is responsible for the activities, properties and affairs of the School. They are committed to excellence in upholding the values and integrity of the School, its administration, faculty and families, and we are grateful for their dedication and commitment in ensuring we remain a premier program in early childhood education.
